Delicious wine. Fair prices. Food just average. Small cozy eatery. A bit cold outside. Answer to owner request: I had fried potatoes. Underneath, I imagine finely chopped, crispy seared potatoes with a roasted flavor. What I had on the plate were probably halved Dauphine potatoes that were moderately crispy and on which an excessive amount of paprika-based spice mixture was spread. The spice mixture has also found itself on the meat. Often times less is more.

Getting something decent to eat on a Monday during reading time without a reservation is not that easy. If you don't let yourself be deterred by the somewhat sloppy-looking awning, you dive into your very own but coherent world. I found the tidy menu very positive. Little on it, but what is on it can be done perfectly. I also found the way the two service ladies treated each other very positive. Professional and cordial, always open and fun on the lips. Big compliments also to the kitchen, the breading of the schnitzel: top. Finally: Big really means big ?

A nice place in the middle of the city. Unfortunately, it took a long time to order a second drink. We sat with 9 people in the restaurant. When the question came, the (presumably) boss found that she couldn't remember everything and had to get a piece of paper first. I find that very unprofessional. The prices are ok ?, the dry wine (all) ? but rather lovely.

The food was great and the staff friendly and kind. The prices are reasonable for the portions. When I come to Traben-Trabach again, I know where to go to eat.

The food is very good . The schnitzel with fried potatoes is highly recommended. We have seldom eaten so well! I have read some bad reviews about the food and cannot share your opinion at all. We loved it and will definitely be back. Regarding the remark whether you have disinfected your hands, yes that was also the case with us, but in the current situation I think it is appropriate and also okay that these are regulations or precautionary measures.

Our first time in Traben Trarbach, our first time "Im Kitt'chen" and we were not disappointed ... The square is in the middle of the pedestrian zone and invites you to linger ... A cold beer, a pork steak with onions, if you can stand up there already ?! We'll fill up the last star next time, when the fried potatoes go a little better with the paprika? be seasoned ... ?

Schnitzel dream! Here you can hear the schnitzel being knocked in the kitchen! Super tasty, good price-performance ratio, plus nice service and a nice atmosphere outside in the city center. If we weren't here on vacation, we would come more often :)))

After a great bike ride, I was looking forward to a nice drink in a beautiful city ... unfortunately I was taught a better or worse one. The waitress didn’t greet me very nicely with the words "already disinfected my hands". Then I got a non-drinkable wine spritzer. What I got was a dry rot diluted with tap water.

Service, organization and the food: impeccable and perfect. Small card, but what it says is mastered from a to z. The schnitzel was sensational .. Delicious and crispy crust and optionally with fried potatoes or French fries. You can tell that there is a chef in the kitchen who knows his trade.

We ate schnitzel very well here, the service was quick and friendly and the food came quickly. However, it can happen that other guests have a worse experience, that's no reason for the owner here at the Google reviews to draw so much about the guests, you don't have to hide with your food, but more professional answers can be expected , if a guest shouldn't like it as much as it hurts.

Amazing place for a traditional german bites. The curry wurst and draught white beer is must try. Good and friendly service. Recommended place in traben-trabach.

Good quality of food at a reasonable price. Friendly service. The only thing missing is a view of the river, but the outside terrace is still a good place to sit and enjoy a meal or drinks on a warm day.
